What portal are you talking about? And many portals are hard to get to because it is a good place to level in. Get a lot of defence and try more.

I ment save up some money, and then buy many deffence items and hp extenders. I used to hate those portals to, but I understand why it is like that now. It have to be a little bit hard to get to good places to level.

it sux tho you have you're hp exteders and charms on but then they will stun and kill you >.<
